Dr. Dorota Gribbin, Comprehensive Pain and Regenerative Center
I have been under pain management by Dr. Dorota Gribbin for over 2 years now. I am a senior suffering from arthritic pain in my joints, lower and upper back and neck. I also had spinal surgery to relieve spinal stenosis. Over time I have been treated by several Pain Management providers, without much success.
I came across Dr. Gribbin‘s Comprehensive Pain and Regenerative Center brochure. It was quite impressive. I decided to visit the Doctor. She first ordered tests and performed her own nerve test to determine where and what my pain problems were. Since that first appointment, Dr. Gribbin has treated me successfully with Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA), and other pain controlling injections for my lower and upper back, sacroiliac joints pain, neck, and carpal tunnel. Dr. Gribbin keeps track of when and where injections are administered so as to provide pain relief with as little interruption as possible between medically prescribed intervals. Dr. Gribbin also has a Physical Therapy service since most pain management procedures require physical therapy. So there is no need to go to another medical group for the therapy.
Dr. Gribbin is pleasant and has an easy to communicate with personality.
In the early Fall of 2023 I told Dr. Gribbin that my wife and I were planning on a cruise vacation in January 2024. Dr. Gribbin scheduled and performed all necessary treatments on me to make my cruise experience as painless as possible.

About 1 year ago I started having pain in my right leg. I went to the doctor and found out I have arthritics in my right hip and I need surgery. At the time I did not want to operate, because I had other issues with my health. The pain was so bad that I was not able to walk or sleep.
My daughter told me about Dr.Gribbin in Princeton, NJ, after a few visits I started feeling better. Dr.Gribbin was very pleasant and gentle. I know that someday when im ready I will need a hip replacement, but for now I feel 80% better.

After sustaining a compression fracture in one of the vertebrae in my spine, the resulting back pain was excruciating. Finding Dr. Gribbin and her pain management team was very fortunate for me. The procedures she performed were selective nerve root blocks with local anesthesia and fluoroscopic guidance and viewing with injections.

My son had been in constant stomach pain for six weeks. We went to two emergency rooms, saw pediatricians, surgeons, specialists, and stayed at CHOP for a week to do every gastro test they could come up with. The doctors could find no cause for the pain. It seemed like they gave up on us, and said we should go to a pain management center. After just one visit with Dr. Gribbin, she suggested, based on his activities and start of the pain (marching band), that the pain was actually originating in his back. Sure enough, after tests, he had pinched nerves in his back. The nerves wrapped around to his stomach, where the pain manifested. After an epidural steroid shot, into his back, he is now pain free. I wish we had come to Dr. Gribbin first!

Do you know what a physiatrist is? I didn’t. They figure out what is wrong with you and fix it. I want to know why all specialist aren’t required to do that. This is how I discovered Dr. Gribbin and what she did for me.
After exhausting visits to ENT, neurologist, physical therapist, MRIs, ct scans…in desperation, I went to my primary and asked if he had any other ideas I could try. I was desperate and would do anything to get rid of the headache I had had for almost a year. He doubled my dose of Meloxicam to 15 mg (since the 4-6 acetaminophen. 8-10 ibuprofen and the 7.5 Meloxicam just made it almost bearable) and gave me a referral to Dr. Gribbin. I took the first appointment available. I told her of all my problems and undaunted, answered, “Ah, the perfect patient.” I highly doubted that.
I had not gone anywhere or had any quality of life for over a year and decided to continue taking whatever medication was necessary to enjoy a weekend trip to flea markets with my friend knowing it would be my last. I couldn’t stand it anymore.
I went twice a week having test I’d never even heard of . I didn’t object. I’d been having tests done for months by other doctors but no answers – just more medication. There was no other option, it was worth a try. After test had been completed and results were in, Dr. Gribbin said to me, “You have a pinched nerve. I think I can make you better.” Tears filled my eyes. I had hope for the first time in almost a year.
I continued with her prescribed therapy of shots and physical therapy with Mitch at Ambient. Several weeks later, she told me she thought I would be better by the end of the year.
I went on my trip and although I took my ibuprofen and acetaminophen with me, I believe I only took two ibuprofen and had a terrific time. I was able to keep up with my friend who has no health issues.
I now take – wait for it……
No ibuprofen, no acetaminophen, half the dosage of Meloxicam (as needed) which is maybe every 3 days and tapering down. Dr. Gribbin has been my miracle, and although she said she can’t guarantee it won’t come back, Mitch has taught me how to keep it a bay. I am almost finished with my treatment and am 95% better! I was so tired and old , having so many back problems and health issues in the past. But now, I feel good! I can go places and do things. She has restored my quality of life. I can’t believe it but I am very, very grateful.
I’m not saying everyone will get an answer as good as mine but it you feel like giving up, don’t. She won’t and there is a great chance she may have the answers no one else has been able to give you.
